Coated Vicryl™ Plus Antibacterial Sutures are absorbable, sterile synthetic sutures composed of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Designed to provide reliable soft tissue approximation or ligation, these sutures incorporate Irgacare‡ MP (Triclosan), a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. This unique composition helps inhibit bacterial growth, including pathogens like Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA, which frequently cause surgical site infections.
