Hapla Gold Wool Felt is used as a highly versatile padding which can be easily cut and shaped providing excellent pressure absorption.
Hapla Gold Felt contains an antibacterial agent which protects the felt and inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Clinically tested and verified, the Hapla Gold felts produced:
A greater than 5-Log reduction in S aureus numbers following seven days exposure to the product.
A greater than 5-Log reduction in Ps aeruginosa and a 2-Log reduction in C albicans numbers following 14 days exposure to the product.
(Staphylococcus aureus is a gram positive bacteria - common on human skin. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram negative bacteria.Candida albicans is a fungus.)
